According to Make Mine 007, a website devoted to the libations of James Bond, drinker, sailor, connoisseur, spy, Bond downs approximately one drink per every seven pages in the books.
The various literary Bond girls didn't do too badly themselves, especially Vesper Lynd. Maybe that was her hidden attraction; if so, then I should have more than a fighting chance with Daniel Craig.
| Bond Girl | Drinks |
|---|---|
| Vesper Lynd | 10 |
| Solitaire | 5 |
| Gala Brand | 4 |
| Tiffany Case | 9 |
| Tatiana Romanova | 7 |

Ian Fleming himself was a devoted drinker, once saying: "I have always smoked and drunk and loved too much." I suppose it makes sense then that he would make Bond's enemies very moderate drinkers or, at worst, teetotallers:
| Villain | Drinks |
|---|---|
| Le Chiffre | 0 |
| Mr. Big | 0 |
| Hugo Drax | 4 |
| Seraffimo Spang | 1 |
| “Red” Grant | 0 |
| Rosa Klebb | 1 |
| Dr. Julius No | 0 |
| Auric Goldfinger | 0 |
| Emilio Largo | 1 |
| Ernst Stavro Blofeld | 0 |
| Irma Bunt | 0 |
| Francisco Scaramanga | 0 |

After all of that alcoholic indulgence, a hangover cure might now and again be appropriate, and Bond made use of them on occasion (in fact, in Thunderball, Bond says he is obliged to drink one of these at least weekly:
The 007 Hangover Cure:
1 whole egg
1 1/2 oz brandy
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco sauce (optional)
Place the cracked egg with the yolk unbroken into a highball glass. Add the other ingredients and drink, swallowing the yolk whole.
