Linkein + Twitter partnership.
On Nov 9 the companies announced the partnership and Co-Founder from LinkeIn called it “TwitterIn”. Users will have the ability to cross-file from both services with a click in the box in the profile page. In essence, combine the business ecosystem of linkedIn with the business side of Twitter, according to Hoffman LinkedIn Co-Founder.
Twitter becoming the center platform for communications continues to strike innovation and strategic partnerships. With 50 million users already on LinkeIn to display their resumes, will have a chance to utilize the tweeting marketing innovation behind Twitter.
Biz stone, co-Founder for Twitter, thought the way people create their persona on the web is their resume.
“Bringing the peanut butter and the chocolate together to make the perfect combination,” said Stone. This phrase was analogous to the power and expansion that both will bring in the era of technology and networking.
The LinkedIn blog mentioned the feature coming soon in the next few days. Instructions will be easy to add the Twitter account to LinkeIn.
Instructions to linkup both accounts according to LinkeIn:
To add your Twitter account, visit “Edit My Profile” and click “Add Twitter account” next to the Twitter field. Twitter will ask you to verify your account name and password. Once the account is verified, you’ll be asked how you’d like to share your tweets on LinkedIn (see below). Note that once your accounts are joined, you can change this setting at any time by clicking “Edit” next to your Twitter account name.
