The IAAF World Championships ended last week in Germany but for Oregon-based Dathan Ritzenhein the party moved to the AF Golden League meet in Switzerland where today he ran 12:56.27 in the 5,000 meters and set a new American record! Bob Kennedy held the record since 1996 when he ran 12:58.21.  (I’ll update this page with more coverage once it comes in).
