Michael Jackson's passing, June 25, 2009, will not mean he is forgotten.  By all means not his music either.  He co-wrote with Paul McCartney Say Say Say.

He did have a very generous side to him, there are multiple charities who can vouche to that, his children adored him, and his fans, family and fellow entertainers as well - fond memories galore!

It was his music that will stand out for the next generations to follow.  He was dubbed King of Pop and even, by Brooke Shields, The Little Prince. And who can forget his moonwalking?

Not unlike a fine piece of art - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe in Jackson's case it is beauty is in the ear of the beholder, if not the heart!

For when one sits back, if that is possible when listening to Michael Jackson, the listener determines what he or she feels at that moment of musical enjoyment.

Michael Jackson's musical background proves the point.  As Jackson was one of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice!

And did the King of Pop ever meet the King of Rock & Roll (Elvis)?
