In April, Save Fashion was the hottest fashion event, scratch that, the only fashion event to ever hit the unlikely Port Authority bus terminal. If you missed it the first time around, Save Fashion is back by popular demand this week and migrating further south to SoHo.
In true pop-up shop fashion, labels including Rogan, Steven Alan , Vena Cava and Wren will be sold at huge markdowns. The last Save Fashion shop impressed fashion insiders with its deep discounts and this time is no exception, markdowns are starting at a minimum of 50% and creeping as high as 90% off of the original price. Based on the current discount list, you’ll have your pick of Rag and Bone tanks for $32, a Built By Wendy leather skirt for $96, Sunshine and Shadow scarves for $29 and a Vena Cava ruffle skirt for $100. Not too shabby.
This time around, you won’t have to battle tourists and bus riders in the sometimes-seedy terminal. Instead the pop up will be located in SoHo’s indie fashion Mecca, Inven.tory. Unlike the last pop-up that lasted for a month, this one will be running for just a week so get there early to beat the inevitable lines and score the good stuff while it lasts.
