Learning about the options to manage pain can help prevent drug addiction and tragedies like the recent death of Michael Jackson. Chronic pain can be unbearable and does not always respond to medications. Taking pain medications on a continual basis can lead to tolerance requiring higher doses for relief, and even drug addiction as in the case with MJ..
