Mental illness is comprised of a variety of disorders all of which affect the quality of life in numerous ways.
Some are easier to diagnose than others and some take much more of a toll on the lives of the consumer and their support system than others. All are treatable through medication, support and therapy. Recovery is possible, but also comes in varying degrees.
