These are not like the brownies you are used to eating. However, you will come to enjoy these… with a spoon! Yes, these are so rich and gooey a spoon is required. The frosting is not a stiff frosting. It is like a thick glaze. These are so good you must give them a try!

 

 

Ooey Gooey Spoon Brownies

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 bag mini marshmallows

Frosting

  • 1 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk

Brownies:
Preheat oven to 350*.
Mix together butter and sugar until creamy.
Add cocoa powder then vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add flour and salt.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven and add marshmallows to cover.
Bake 3 minutes.
Cover with frosting.

Frosting:
In a bowl mix powdered sugar with butter.
Add cocoa powder, then milk.
