Severe storms are possible this afternoon after we deal with some oppressive heat once again.  Records were broken yesterday in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm with mid to upper 90s for highs.  Expect similar heat with plenty of humidity once again for today.  From the noon hour through the evening there will be the potential for some strong to severe thunderstorms across SoFla.  Storms will generally move from west to east.  Strong winds, large hail, heavy rain, and dangerous lightning can be expected.  The possibility of an isolated tornado is not out of the question.  Highs make it into the mid 90s for most of us before the storms begin to fire.
