Guess the strain of the pennant race is taking its toll on the young Florida Marlins.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, shortstop Hanley Ramirez and second baseman Dan Uggla openly argued in the clubhouse about why Ramirez really exited Tuesday's rain delayed game in the fourth inning.
Ramirez reportedly had complained about teammates showing him up when he came out because of cramping in his left hamstring. He is at odds with some teammates about his perceived lack of desire and commitment to winning.
The Marlins are committed to building around Ramirez as they prepare to move into their new stadium in 2012. But this situation bears watching.
