Book from Amber Heat

Amber Heat is an imprint of Amber Quill Press. They also have a Gay/Lesbian erotica imprint called Amber Allure.

This publishing house seems to know what’s hot and is definitely producing what the people want. They have 3 levels of heat that goes from hot to nova! They are as listed:

Amber Heat Erotica Heat Level Ratings Information
Heat Level 1
Love scenes are detailed, may include some graphic language.
Heat Level 2
Love scenes are explicit, frequent, and often contain graphic language. May also include mild fantasy material (playful spanking, light bondage, toys, and same sex relationships).
Heat Level 3
Love scenes are extremely explicit, frequent, and language is quite graphic. Some stories may also contain sexual situations or storylines that push the envelope (heavy bondage, spanking, as well as ménage, domination/submission, multiple sexual partners, anal sex, and same sex relationships).

The site itself is very easy to navigate and the color scheme of course is amber colors and tones. Books are either downloaded (the fastest way to procure books) or purchased in print.

You can shop for your book by Genre (which there are a lot, including Superheroes, Dark Fantasy and voyeurism), by Title , and by Author.

If your looking to submit your own story, they do not take “outside” submissions because they are mostly a “submit by invitation only” publisher. So this means that a lot of your favorite authors are published here.

They have an FAQ page to answer any questions you may have. Apparently they have several answers here, which even if you don’t have the question it is nice to read to familiarize yourself with their site. Also check out there blog which I can see is updated quite often. There are also links to your favorite authors site on the blog.

Bottom line, I am really liking this site. While they’ve been producing erotica since 2002, I can honestly say I haven’t read any of their books. After being on the site I am extremely excited to get my hands on a book. The covers are really good too, which for me is a good thing. This site is highly recommended.
