Reagan LibraryWith only a week left until the Republican National Convention, you've got almost enough time to squeeze in visits to a visit to one of the GOP Presidential Libraries!

My favorite is the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, CA. The view from the mountaintop couldn't be more breathtaking -- and it's a fitting final resting place for one of our most magnificent leaders. The museum itself is chock-full of Reagan memorabilia and gives younger visitors a real sense of what life was like during the Reagan era.

One of the most interesting exhibits at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is artist Veryl Goodnight 's "The Day the Wall Came Down." The sculpture depicts five horses running through the fallen Berlin Wall and is the companion to the first casting which resides permanently in German capital city.

At the Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, CA, visitors are offered the rare opportunity to step into Marine One. This particular helicopter was made famous on August 9, 1974, when it carried President Nixon away from the White House on his last day in office.
