As the close of the school year is here I'm reminded of how unique our special needs teachers, aides and therapists are. These people have abilities far beyond the norm. Think about how they have worked with our children day in and day out with patience and dedication. It takes a gifted person to be able to look through the mental aspects and sometimes extreme physical deformities of our children into their very soul. Few people have this ability.

In the next few days these talented individuals will be a part of our past. Most of our kids will move on to a new classroom, a new school, or in some cases an entirely new city. However, we will never forget these life-time role models  and many of our children won't either. Take a minute to send a note of thanks and gratitude it will mean more than you can imagine to every one of them.
