The Wii Fit Plus will have a whole host of new balance games.

The new Wii Fit Plus announced at E3 now has a launch date and will be arriving in stores on October 4th. The new version of the popular exercise game includes correcting a few Wii Fit gripes like the inability to create custom workouts as well as new exercises and yoga poses.

In addition to creating custom workouts, the Wii Fit Plus will allow you to choose from pre-created workouts that target specific goals, like working out the stomach or working out for a specific amount of time. It will also include a calorie counter and will transfer over all of the data from your existing Wii Fit, so your goals and progress will remain intact.

In addition to the six new strength and yoga activities, the Wii Fit Plus will also include 15 new balance games. One of the balance games is similar to an interactive version of of Mario where you run and jump through an obstacle course.

The Wii Fit Plus will come bundled with a balance board for $99.99 and be available as a stand-alone for $19.99, which is a good deal if you already have the Wii Fit.
