Two years after its initial release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is coming to the Wii

Two years later, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is making its way to the Nintendo Wii system. While the Wii already sports Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: World at War, it's been slighted by the Modern Warfare edition, with the original Modern Warfare skipped and no Wii version of Modern Warfare 2.

But Infinity Ward is making up for it by finally releasing the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for the Wii. The release will coincide with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 release for the other consoles.

Okay, it's obvious that the Wii is getting the lame end of the stick in this deal. But then again, if you bought the Wii for great first-person shooters, you bought the wrong console. In the great debate of Modern Warfare vs World at War, many longtime Call of Duty fans believes Modern Warfare wins the fight. So, at least Wii users will be able to enjoy one of the best versions of the game.
