MySims Racing appears to be just a Mario Kart clone.
Look familiar?

After cutting around 10% of its workforce, Electronic Arts thinks the best way it can boost sales is to come out with a couple of innovative games for the Wii and DS. Unfortunately, the innovative portion of that statement belongs to Nintendo, with EA deciding to simply clone two of Mario's bestselling games -- Mario Party and Mario Kart -- and insert their own intellectual property into the mix, thus creating MySims Party and MySims Racing.

MySims Party will feature 50 mini games that are played using MySims characters. The mini games can be played alone or as part of a festival. MySims Racing is basically the same deal, only it is modeled after Mario Kart.

For fans of those games, it is probably not a bad deal. Game clones can be a great way to waste some time while waiting for the next game in the franchise. The real test will be whether or not they can bring anything new to the party.
