Section 8 is the United States military regulation for a soldier who is dismissed for being mentally unfit for duty. It is also the nickname given to the 8th Armored Infantry, a division known for volunteering for near-suicidal missions.
Section 8 is a science fiction first-person shooter by SouthPeak Games that allows players to dynamically call in vehicles deliveries to employ a huge amount of control over the battlefield. The game missions include scouting enemy territory, securing difficult objectives and employing lightning-quick assaults.
Section 8 is set to be released in late 2009.
