The Xbox 360 is at least the most talked about console this holiday season.

As expected, the Nintendo Wii has been flying off the shelves this season, garnering more than two million consoles sold, which is more than the Xbox 360 (836,000 units sold) and the PlayStation 3 (378,000 units sold). It's also sold more than Nintendo's portable console unit, the Nintendo DS, which sold a little over 1.5 million units in November.

But according to Nielson Online, there's one area that the Xbox 360 dominates: Internet buzz.

By tracking messages left on blogs, Nielson found that the Xbox 360 was mentioned 41.6% of the time when a message contained something aimed at either the Wii, Xbox 360 or PlayStation. That is a big jump from the amount of buzz generated around the Wii (29.8%) and PlayStation (28.6%).

Of course, nothing beats sales, and all those people could just be bitching about the red ring of death.
