DUI charges against NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team owner Billy Ballew have been dismissed.

Authorities in Henry County, Georgia dismissed the DUI charge after an independent investigation.

The charge stemmed from an incident on March 4, 2009 on the grounds of Atlanta Motor Speedway..

Ballew is a native of Blairsville, Georgia and has owned a condo at Atlanta Motor Speedway since 1996.
