Republican presidential candidate John McCain will be in attendance at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Sunday for the Sylvania 300 Sprint Cup Series race.
There are no official campaign festivities or speeches for McCain who was given the GOP nod last week in Minnesota. He will not be traveling with his vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, but is expected to have his wife Cindy who is widely known to be a NASCAR fan.
McCain was grand marshal of the Sylvania 300 race in 2006. He also attended the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in May of 2007. Cindy McCain recently attended NASCAR events at Indy and Pocono Raceway in August.
