The National Stock Car Racing Commission voted unanimously Wednesday to slightly ease the penalties placed on Tony Stewart and Joey Logano for an August 16th incident at Michigan International Speedway.

In the postrace inspection the Toyotas both drivers raced in for Joe Gibbs Racing were found to have magnetic devices underneath the pedals designed to control the horsepower readings on a standard dynamometer test.

The probation both drivers were put on was lifted but the 150-championship points both drivers were docked and the indefinite suspension of both crew chiefs and the fines were upheld.
