Juan Pablo Montoya may not be running for a championship in NASCAR, and may not be finishing in the front of the pack every week.  But don’t look for the former Formula 1 star to head back to the open wheel ranks anytime soon.

Formula 1 team Toro Rosso said they recently tried to lure Montoya to their team for 2009, but Montoya rejected the offer.

"Unfortunately he no longer wants to be in Formula One," Toro Rosso team boss Franz Tost told German magazine Auto Motor and Sport.
