Best places to buy NASCAR tickets
The best place to get tickets is directly from the track either in person or on the Internet. Ticket vendors are plentiful on the Internet, unfortunately a few have resorted to unscrupulous practices tainting the whole bunch so they should be avoided at all possible. If you are looking for tickets to a sold out race and feel you must use an online vendor check with the Better Business Bureau or go online and check fan message boards to make sure you aren’t getting taken. Better to learn about an unscrupulous dealer before you pay your money then to find you have a fake ticket when you show up at the gate.
At all costs avoid the people you see on the side of the road near a track selling tickets. Not only do most charge way above face value, many of them are selling bogus tickets, and by the time you find out, the seller is long gone.
Best web sites for NASCAR news
The Internet has changed the society and it’s changed NASCAR as well. Information on your favorite driver can be found there using your favorite search engine. Perhaps the biggest most comprehensive site beyond NASCAR’s official site, NASCAR.com, is Jayski Silly Season page, Jayski.com. The other major sites many people turn to are ThatsRacing.com, Fox Sports, ESPN and the Sporting News.

Also the ‘official’ sites of your favorite drivers will list fan club information and latest news on your driver.
Best NASCAR bloggers
Beware, just as the Internet can be a great source of information, it can also be a great source of lies as well. Many fans have blogs about their favorite drivers, but there are more than a few who will post erroneous information or false rumors about drivers in order to get attention. This is an ongoing problem in NASCAR and with no one to police it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. As such only the blogs of the major news sites are being recommended.
These include:
Veteran motorsports journalist David Poole ‘Life in the turn lane’
AOL’s Fanhouse:
Lee Spencer Fox Sports
Best NASCAR teams
In the last decade the teams belonging to Roush Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing and Hendrick Motorsports have dominated the NASCAR landscape winning nine of the last 10 season championships.
