The new issue of eWeek is out for the week of November 9th. Amongst the articles in this technical guru's bible was an announcement that it was having its 25th anniversary.

Today, much of the technology and terminology used in the pages of eWeek is part of the general lexicon.
To that I say "hear hear", as this magazine has part of my technical life for a good portion (at least 20 years worth) of time. It brought, and still brings up to date information on the "tech" that I need to know about, as a writer, web master and a reviewer. They do all the testing that my array of 2 laptops, 2 desktops and a home network can not handle.

What about DOS 25 years ago ? Today, Dos is spanish for 2 or dos is a non punctuated do's.
How times change. Power goes up and price goes down.. What other industry can that be said of? None. Now, desktops are more popwerful than ever, and laptops are smaller than books. What's next
Happy birthday eWeek, We shall see you in 25 more years, when our own hands will be bigger than the next wave of computers.
