One of LA's best kept scretes, Nathan Nice

Meet Nathan, he's a nice guy with talent that would allow him to be an ass hole two or three times a week if he wanted to. I've been communicating with Nathan Nice for about 10 months and even before that, my demo was fortunate enough to have made it into his hands while he was playing a show in San Francisco. This was the seed, his Mysapce message was the liquid, my response, the growth.

Nathan Nice isn't just a grab bag name. The balance of rhyme, lyrical cadence, beats and over all calm composition of his personality can only be described as, nice. He's an MC with musical talent but the man behind the sonic sound is his long time friend and musical companion, producer extraodinair, Brontosaurus. He has been the fingers pushing buttons that gave us Nathan Nice classics such as Brighter and Melting Margins. So before you think anything, check those songs out and keep your brain on thaw.

Nathan was born and raised in the Echo Park section of LA which has had all but a negative impact on his music. Being immersed in a world of diversity, a certain type of funk drips from each word.

He got his start a long time ago when his mom gave him short story writing tasks which evolved into an 8th grade 1991 battle verse over a girl. His first recordings were in 1996 and consisted of a verse about being a fresh MC, but today, Nathan Nice is in a much more potent zone with his writing and has become one of the freshest MC's in Los Angeles.

Our world is over stimulated, we have too much at our fingertips and because of this, we lack patience and interest in long fulfilling conversations. I know it's hard for you all to read something that runs any longer than what I've already given you, so, I'll just let you meet him.

Enjoy his songs and keep your ears tuned into the one they call Nathan Nice.

LISTEN TO NATHAN NICE NOW!
