Writer/director, actor, stuntman legend, special effects guru, and production manager Gary Kent will be screening one of the many films he has worked on over his expansive career in indie film, Bubba Ho-Tep, on Sunday, July 26th, at Dan's Silverleaf in Denton, Texas. The second stop on Kent's 2009 tour celebrating the release of his autobiographical account of the rise of indie film, Shadows & Light: Journeys With Outlaws in Revolutionary Hollywood (Dalton Publishing, July 2009), the evening promises to be an entertaining and memorable tribute to Kent's contribution to the film world.

Admission is free with doors opening at 8pm. Copies of Shadows & Light will be available for purchase during the evening, which Kent will happily sign. At 9pm Gary Kent will take the stage for an intimate Q&A session with the crowd, followed by the screening of Bubba Ho-Tep at 10pm. Author Joe O'Connell will be on hand filming the event as part of a documentary he is crafting about Gary Kent.

Dan's Silverleaf is located at 103 Industrial, Denton TX, 76201. For more information visit danssilverleaf.com.
