Carrie Addington
DC Poetry Examiner | Bio
Find out more about Carrie:

Carrie Addington is a freelance writer, Advertising Director, and poet trapped in the body of a bubbly, ex-cheerleader. She works with words daily both in her writing and her advertising career. She earned an MFA in poetry and is the recipient of the 2007 American Literary Review Poetry Prize and a 2007 Pushcart Nominee. Her poems have been published in Triplopia, the American Literary Review, and Margie. She has spent a summer vine binding at Ezra Pound's castle in Northern Italy and to this day is eager to find a DC-area poetry event that can match that experience. Follow Carrie on her scavanger hunt for good poetry, fine words, and the next best thing in this overpopulated category of exploration. Contact Carrie at caddington@addingtonwriters.com.
