
I'm not sure if Wasilla, Alaska will end up on anybody's Bucket List of Places to Visit Before They Die, but this Alaska community of around 7,000 people is in the spotlight.
All because of its most famous hometown girl, Gov. Sarah Palin (R), who was picked by Sen. John McCain as his VP running mate for the 2008 Presidential Election.
Sarah Heath Palin was not only Miss Wasilla 1984, she went on to become the mayor of this sprawling Mat-Su Valley city.
