
I'm a fan and member of TripAdvisor. Recently, I logged on to check out a hotel where I'm going to be staying in LaConner, Washington. Oh sure, who knows if some of the comments aren't from the owners' relatives or the competition down the road; but it's a good way to get an idea of what's in store.
When I logged in, I filled out a simple question, asking me where I suggest that TripAdvisor's $1 million donation go to? I answered Doctors Without Borders, and for responding, was given a link to a print out of TripAdvisor's 2008 Travelers' Choice Awards: Honoring the World's Best Hotels.
With travel dollars a bit tight right now, here are two categories that are timely:
