App Store celebrates 1 year
Apple has started celebrating one year of App Store apps, according to iPodNN. The App Store, released a year ago, has been a deciding factor in the iPhone OS' success; allowing users to expand their iPhone past their standard range of Apps and forming a new source of a revenue for app designers. Apple recently highlighted it's 1 Billionth App Downloaded with a contest.
