My brain is still in little pieces on the floor. World of Warcraft, at a theater near you? I've been up to my neck working on a sports MMO for the last few days, and when I finally came up for air, that was the first email I saw. Sam Raimi!
Listen, if nothing else, I'm just thrilled they didn't ask Uwe Boll to take the reins.
Will it have the humor of Evil Dead? Will it have the tortured emotional underpinnings of Spiderman? The campy fun of Xena, Warrior Princess?
Oh man, what about casting?
I suspect, given the choice of Raimi, that they're looking to keep the humor of the Warcraft universe firmly front and center, as opposed to trying to go all epic. What do you think?
