FIRST THURSDAYS 8/2

The

Asian Art Museum

will be hosting their monthly "

MATCHA

" event.  This month's theme is Japanese Tattoo, featuring renowned and respected Tattoo artists Shige, Mutsuo, Horitaka (Takahiro Kitamura, Owner of

State of Grace

in San Jose) among others.  Get your dose of culture after work: grab a drink at the cash bar, sample some tea, catch a LIVE Tattoo demonstration and educate yourself through lectures by Takahiro Kitamura and John Nelson. 5-9 PM.

Z Cioccolato: 474 Columbus.  Group show with themes including clowns, robots, candy, and politics. Reception 5-8 PM.
