Well it looks like Twitter has become the new stomping grounds for Ladies of the Night looking to sell their...um....wares(?) Apparently with the recent deaths and robberies attributed to Craigslist, the "ladies" are running scared.
Move over, Craigslist: The social networking site Twitter is being colonized by escort services able to "tweet" scores of potential johns at once and link customers to their Web sites.
A recent search of the free service found so-called escorts from coast to coast using the site.
Among its members is "bostonescorts," which had 187 subscribers, known as "followers," and featured a photo of a brunette in a sheer black top casting a come-hither look. The user’s Web site is a link to "NaughtyReviews," a clearinghouse for all things erotic, from Boston strip clubs and massage parlors to scantily clad escorts.
