Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida Presents the Turkey Trot

• 5k or 10k run
• Thanksgiving day
• Thursday, November 26, 2009
• Run starts at 7:30 AM at Tropical Park
• 7900 SW 40 Street, Miami
• Race #3 of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Running Series
• Presented by Miami Dade Parks and Recreation
• A commemorative event t-shirt is guaranteed for the first 2,000 participants

Benefiting Charity

There will be a canned food drive as part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Turkey Trot. Runners and spectators are encouraged to bring a donation of one or more cans of food.

Kid's Race

Children, ages 2 through 9, can participate in the kid's race. All participants in the kid's race will receive a kid's t-shirt.

• 2-3 years old: 50 yards
• 4-5 years old: 150 yards
• 6-7 years old: .25 mile
• 8-9 years old: .33 mile
