Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick may still be going strong, touring and cutting new albums and all that, but when I hear "Don't Stop Believing," "Magic Man," or "Surrender," I time travel straight back to high school. Furthering my nostalgic wallowing is the news that all three bands will be playing at the White River Amphitheater on September 19th at 7 p.m.

Have all these music makers stood the test of time? Judging by the attack on the McCain/Palin campaign over the use of "Barracuda" I'd say Heart still has that fighting spirit. Cheap Trick? Hey, "Dream Police" still makes me smile and want to wave a lighter over my head. And what about Journey? Will it be the same without Steve Perry? Watch the video below with Arnel Pineda as the new lead singer, close your eyes and ask yourself just who is singing, Steve or Arnel. It's rather uncanny.
