I just wanted to present a few tips on how to budget and save money and “live out your dreams, but within your means.”

1)      Pay yourself first. No matter what, take whatever you have and invest in the stock market, savings account, real estate, etc, whatever that you’re comfortable and/or knowledgeable in. Beats spending money playing the Lotto and scratch offs.

2)   Get rid of debt. When you owe someone money, you’re in bondage to them
until it hits zero. “Owe no man nothing, but to love one another.” Romans 13:8
confirms it for me. I don’t debate with the WORD.

3)      Live below your means. We all like nice things, including myself, but don’t try to
Keep up with the Jones’ and you know don’t have it like that, a big problem in the African-American community. Consumer spending amongst blacks is at 900 BILLION, but less than 3% own businesses and most live check to check.

4)      Look for discounts. It’s an oxymoron that some of the most affluent people use
coupons, shop at discount stores and buy items on sale, but the poorest are too
prideful to do that. Go figure.

5)      Prioritize. Necessities before luxuries. You shouldn’t buy a new pair of Jimmy
Choo shoes if there is no milk and juice in your refrigerator. End of discussion.

6)      Find a legitimate house of worship and tithe 10% of your income. I don’t care
What anyone says, tithing brings blessings. I’ve seen the manifestations in my life
because of it. If some stupid church wants do scandalous things with your money, GOD will not hold you accountable, because you’re tithing to HIM, not the church.

Hope these help and there is more to come.
