The Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair encourages its participants to experience the greener tomorrow...today. This fair, sponsored by corporations such as Tree People, Bank of America, The Girl Scouts, and many other local organizations, provides young students with the opportunity to become more familiar with more eco-friendly lifestyles. Through arts and crafts activities, music, workshops, and storytelling, kids and their families can learn about how to be eco friendly while having fun in a 127- acre peacock-filled botanical garden.

With events like these on the agenda of businesses and organizations in Los Angeles from the LA County Office of Education to the LA Outdoor Science School, it is clear that educating our youth more deeply about their environment is important in leading them to make better decisions in the future. By planting the seed of environmental knowledge in the minds of youth now, they will more intuitively make ecologically efficient decisions in the future.
