I guess ticket sales for Britney Spears' Circus tour, which kicks off tomorrow in New Orleans, are even slower and weaker than we reported earlier. Why? Cause the Pop Princess is doing everything she can to get as much attention as possible today  - and that’ s what people, even Pop Princess’, do when the sun is going down on their career.

No doubt Britney was worried that her hardcore fans may have lost interest in her womanizing ways, so to speak of her recent hit single. So, like the canny promoters she, her father and the rest of her management team are, Britney released her set list for the Circus tour on her website on March 2. 

Like a Shakespearean drama, really the only thing like the work of the Bard that Britney's ever done, it is a multi-act pay-off with the best saved almost for last. "Hit Me Baby, One More Time," Britney's first hit from a decade ago, and the legitimately electrifying "Toxic" close out the show before the newly fit 27-year old performer comes back for her sole encore. The segment titles are a tad cliché, as is the presence of gossip king Perez Hilton in the intro, but hey a girl on the comeback trail's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Don't be too disappointed by Britney's lip-syncing, which was painfully evident when I saw her "live" back in 2004, as she tries to keep up with all those costume changes and dance routines - not to mention opening act the limber Pussycat Dolls. Revealing her age, and perhaps her need for a fresh injection of cash, Britney, in an assortment of outfits including yellow bra and panties, a blinding plaid dress and a leopard skin patterned crop top, also announced today that she's the new model for Candie's. What's next for Britney Spears? Is the inevitable Playboy pictorial coming sooner than expected if ticket sales keep tanking for the Circus tour? Hey, it sorta worked for Tiffany and Debbie Gibson ... sorta.
