One is the country ingénue whose Fearless album tops the charts, is appearing on CSI and is about to kick off her first headlining tour.

The other is a Pop Princess more known in recent years for her pratfalls, divorces, break-ups and outbursts than her music ... and just when things looked better for her, they might get much worse.

Today 19-year old Taylor Swift and 27-year old Britney Spears are both talking touring, though in very different ways.

As for Britney Spears, it looks like the heavily held in check singer is taking a stand in more ways than one. First she obtained a restraining order against former manager Sam Lufti and ex-boyfriend and paparazzi Adnan Ghalib this weekend and now she's putting her undoubtly well manicured foot down about how and with whom she will tour. The rumor is that Britney Spears says she will pull the plug on her entire 44-city Circus tour unless her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James are with here while she's on the road. According to TMZ.com, that good hearted ex-husband of hers, Kevin Federline, is kyboshing an almost agreed upon plan to house the boys in New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles so Britney could commute back to see them after every show.

Hold on, weren't Britney and K-Fed supposed to be getting along again?

The Circus tour is due to kick off on March 3 in New Orleans before taking in a further 35 shows across North America. Then Britney goes off to Europe with shows at The O2 in London starting on June 6 … or maybe not now.
