Well, I got seven of the main categories right, sort of. One of them was a tie but I'm counting it.  The Curious Case of Benjamin Button won nothing but there are so many more Awards shows to go before the Oscars.

Best Picture - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by less than a nose hair  in front of Slumdog Millionaire. So close we might have to watch an instant replay

 

Best Director - Slumdog Millionaire's Danny Boyle

 

Best Actor - Sean Penn for Milk

 

Best Actress - Anne Hathaway for Rachel Getting Married. Having said that, like Best Picture, it is close and Meryl Streep could take it for her well calculated performance in Doubt

 

Best Supporting Actor - the late Heath Ledger for the Joker in The Dark Knight

 

Best Supporting Actress - Marisa Tomei for The Wrestler
