The endless hype, dashed hopes and stolen opportunities of Award season is about to begin. Before you enter that office pool or start even thinking about throwing a party, here are the shows, dates, and the network broadcasting them that you want to keep on hand. Basically there's an award show every week for the next two months ... unless Hollywood goes on strike and then all bets are off.
January 7 - People's Choice Awards - CBS
January 8 - Critics Choice Awards - VH-1
January 10 - Adult Movie Awards - Porn stars Belladonna and Jenna Haze host the biggest night in Porn at Las Vegas's Mandalay Bay.

January 20 - Presidential Inauguration - (Hey, it's like an award, a pretty big one actually) - ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, CNN, C-SPAN
January 25 - Screen Actors Guild Awards - TNT & TBS
February 8 - Grammy Awards – CBS
February 21 - Spirit Awards (Independent Film) - IFC & AMC
February 22 - Academy Awards - ABC
And this list doesn't even include the Emmys, the Spike Video Game Awards and the MTV Awards. which air later in the year ... If only there were as many good albums, shows, games and movies as there are award shows. If only.
