Some days there is just so much to say and some days it's just better to take a look.
With the bailout chaos in Washington, with bank seizures, with everything else, sometimes it's just better to take a look.
Here's a couple of street art stencil views from the West Coast.
The first one (to the right) I saw in the increasingly truly revitalized downtown Portland. The homage to the 1999 growing cult flick, The Boondock Saints caught my eye as I was walking over to the home of Powell's Books because, well, it was perfectly situated at eye level.

The second one (above) is from LA. Now, there is a lot to slag the City of Angels for I know. But their vibrant street art scene is not one of them. This hipster was on the sidewalk in a hipster shopping area, capturing both the look and the feel of 1970s and 2008 Los Angeles.
Not, on a day like this, a bad view at all.
