KISS Kicks - The Most Merchandised Band in the World Takes It One Step Further

I guess your Mom's second ex-husband will think these are cool

There are KISS lunch boxes, pinball games, toys, tees, paperweights, mugs, KISS condoms, and of yeah, the odd CD or two. I thought Gene Simmons had signed merchandising agreements for KISS everything but it turns out there hasn't been KISS running shoes ... until now.

Vans has brought out a pair of $85 KISS hightops featuring the images of Gene, Paul Stanely, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley from the cover of each of their essentially unmemorable 1978 solo albums.

I know Vans have had some success with their Ramones and Iron Maiden sneakers but I just don't know who these are aimed towards.

And, besides the money, why?

Is this one of the Seven Signs?
