Sidney Crosby to carry the Olympic Torch

Add another accomplishment to Sidney Crosby's long list of career achievements.

On November 18th, Crosby will carry the Olympic Torch in Halifax, Nova Scotia, his home province.

Crosby will travel back home for the Torch Relay the day before the Penguins face the Ottawa Senators on November 19th in Ottawa.

Crosby is expected to lead the Canadian team in the 2010 Winter Olympics which will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from February 12-28.

The Olympic Torch was lit on October 22nd at the Ancient Olympia in Greece and arrived in Victoria, British Columbia on October 30th to start the 106 day "Olympic Torch Relay" across Canada.  The Torch will end up in Vancouver on February 12th for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.
