To honor the resilience and longevity of New York, here's a cocktail from one of the city's namesake musical acts, The Manhattan Transfer. Based on the novel of the same name by John Dos Passos, which describes urban New York City in the Jazz Age through a series of interwoven individual stories, the jazz/pop group, formed in 1969, are celebrating 40 years of Grammy-award winning music.

The following metro-mix takes very little work but demands premium ingredients.
