Okay men, let's be realistic. Valentine's day is unfortunately not about you. I got a few ideas on what to buy and where to eat for that very special lady in your life, Latino-style!

 The Gift:

Don't wait until last minute to get her a gift because the end result will be an angry wife/girlfriend. How about a little black dress? Every girl needs one and she can probably even wear it that night. Try the vintage-inspired Sexy Carmen Dress from Stop Staring! It flatters any woman's body and is super glamorous! Head designer and founder of Stop Staring!, Alicia Estrada, was awarded “Minority Manufacturing Firm of the Year" by the Mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, in 2005.  The Rose:

I found a unique twist to the rose that's also edible and very delicious! Try the White Chocolate Rose Mousse Cake by Michelle and Vinny Garcia of Bleeding Heart Bakery. The Dinner:

Coobah, has an amazing offer for Valentine's Day! The Latino fused restaurant will feature a special pre-fixe menu that will be $69 per couple. Individuals get to choose a given option for the first and main course, then are given a crème brulee for two. The names for the courses are a little racy. One of the main courses is titled, "Between the Sheets." Wait until you see the name of the dessert! Coobah's regular dinner menu will also be available. Call for reservations: 773-528-2220.
