Get ready for DC Restaurant Week

If you guys are like me, it's hard to mask excitment during a restaurant week, any restaurant week. The deals at a bunch of restaurants are just too good to pass up.
DC Restaurant Week is no different. Running from Aug. 24-30, participating restaurants are offering three-course prix fixe dinners for $35.09 and lunches for just $20.09.
Make your reservations now! Tables fill up quickly. Remember that some establishments are only offering lunch or dinner.
Here are the restaurants I'm thinking about:
- Art and Soul - a favorite, ableit a little on the artsy side.
- 15 RIA - This market fresh, trendy eatery is new to me.
- Filomena Ristorante - Great italian cuisine, family-friendly, rich dessert.
- Georgia Brown's - My all-time favorite. (If I could, I'd live here. My friends are sick of my obsession about this place.)
- LaTasca - I haven't been in years. I miss it and am long overdue for paella.
- Napoleon Bistro & Cafe - Crepes! That is all.
- The Palm - My friend is a chef. It's time to pay him a visit & eat myself into a stupor.
- Rosa Mexicano - This upscale Mexican eatery just ooks so fun and festive from the outside.
- Tuscana West - Rave reviews have been frequent; see what the fuss is about. Plus, it's sexy and appears to be a perfect date spot.
- Zola - It's just fun to say the name.
Has anyone checked out Restaurant Week: Bethesda/Chevy Chase yet? If so, where'd you go? What did you order? How was it? If not, do you have plans to do so?
Until we eat again...
