Do your guests really want a party favor that is just going to collect dust on a shelf? I'm willing to bet that the most popular answer to that question is no.

Edible favors are the best because they can be as simple or as elaborate as you want and still make a great impression. They can be appreciated by both male and female guests. Personalized mint tins and cookies are classics. Tea sachets and gourmet coffee favors are popular for bridal and baby showers.

Favors that have intricate designs or a special personalization should be wrapped in a clear cellophane tied with an organza ribbon bow.  Top it off with a personalized tag.

Provide a delicious cupcake mix or the ingredients for grandmom's famous cookies for your guests to bake at home. Make sure you put it in a gorgeous box.

Match the favor to your overall theme. If you are celebrating with an Asian theme, then offer your guests chocolate dipped fortune cookies in Chinese takeout boxes. Be sure to order far enough in advance to be able to customize the message inside.

Embrace the fun of your event with personalized caramel popcorn, cocktail flavored jelly beans, or chocolate lollipops. For adult parties, send guests home with a cocktail mix.
