This morning Farrah Fawcett passed away after a long painful battle with cancer.  Born Mary Farrah Leni Fawcett on February 2, 1947.  Farrah was one of the original Charlie's Angels and all girls in the late 70s and 80's wanted to have hair like her.  The flipped style was quite popular.  Her poster could be found everywhere with the signature hair and tight swimsuit.

Farrah left Charlie's Angels and was in a variety of movies and television shows including "The Burning Bed" and "Somebody Killed Her Husband."  She was married to Lee Majors of Six Million Dollar Man fame but was divorced from him in 1982.  She has been a long term relationship with Ryan O'Neal and they have a son Redmond.

In May, Farrah Fawcett did a documentary about how she was coping with cancer.  Most recently Ryan O'Neal had reportedly asked her to marry him.  It is not clear if he was ever able to make good on the request.  Rest in Peace Farrah Fawcett.
