Rain is accompanying a slow moving July cold front.

A slow moving frontal boundary is bringing cooler and unsettled weather to your Sunday weather scene. Locally heavy rainfall can be expected but coverage will not be uniform.

This means some areas might receive a couple of inches of rain while others get a half inch, or less.

Rainfall will tend to shift further southward as the day wears on. Rainfall potential on Monday should generally be south of I-20, but of course where the front winds up will have a lot to do with that.

In the meantime, expect a definite break from the heat with rather stormy conditions for your July 5th, 2009.
